You found an event hosted on Hopin that you’d like to attend, but you don’t have a Hopin account yet or you are not logged in? You can now register as a guest without creating an account or signing in - by using the guest option directly from the ticket checkout widget.
Registering a single attendee
On the Registration page of the event, click on the Join Event button.
You will have several options to register: create a new Hopin account, log in to an existing account, or continue as a guest.
Select a ticket and click on Continue as guest at the bottom of the widget.
You will be asked to fill in basic information: first name, last name, and email address. All three fields are mandatory. Revise to make sure the information is correct and click on Complete Order.
Note: If you are registering on behalf of someone, please enter the attendee’s information, not the purchaser’s.
You will see a confirmation message with the possibility to buy another ticket.
Once the order is completed, a unique registration link will be sent to the email address you provided.
Click on Go to event to complete the registration. If you already have a Hopin account, you will be automatically logged into your account and redirected to the event Reception page.
If you don’t have a Hopin account, you will be asked to agree to our terms and conditions first.
Here you also have an option to decline the invitation and remove all your data from Hopin.
That’s it! A Hopin account will be automatically created for you and you can enjoy the event.
Note: When registering as a guest you are not asked to set a password for your account. If you would like to access your account later on, independently from this particular event, you can reset your password.
Registering multiple attendees
A slightly different scenario will occur if you purchased several tickets for other invitees. Select the number and type of each ticket you'd like to purchase and click Continue to proceed.
Next you will need to fill in the basic info for all the attendees you’d like to invite. Here you can also register yourself for the event by ticking the Assign ticket to me box. This will automatically fill in your details. Note that you can assign only one ticket to each attendee. Click Continue to proceed.
On the next page you will be asked to provide a payment method and answer additional questions for the tickets assigned to yourself, if set by the event organizer. When ready click Complete registration to finish.
Invited users will receive an invitation to the email you provided with a unique link to register for the event. Through this email, they can accept or decline an invitation and even remove their data. If they accept, when they go to the event page they will be asked to answer additional registration questions, if set by the event organizer.
Done! You can go on to access the event when it is time.
