Mentimeter integration is available to all Hopin plans.
What are the capabilities of the Mentimeter integration?
The Mentimeter integration drives meaningful engagement, empowers your audience and ensures every voice is heard with Mentimeter’s interactive presentations. Share your Mentimeter presentation in Hopin and allow participants to vote directly from the Hopin platform.
How do I set up the Mentimeter integration?
You'll need a Mentimeter account to set up the Mentimeter integration. You can get started with Mentimeter by going to this link.
Next, you will need to install the Mentimeter app to your Hopin Organization. You can access the app store by going to your Organization Dashboard and heading to the Apps tab. Then click on Discover More on App Store.
You can find Mentimeter under the Polls & Surveys category, or you can follow this link to go directly to the page. Click Install app to add the Mentimeter app to your Organization.
Once it is successfully installed, choose an event and navigate to the relevant area through Event Dashboard > Venue > Sessions/Stages/Expo (for this example we'll use a Session)
Tick the box for "Mentimeter Enabled". You will notice that there are other fields that need to be completed, also.
- The voting link ID can be obtained by sharing your presentation within Mentimeter. On your presentation page on Mentimeter, click the Share button on the top right corner and extract the Voting link ID from the Voting link URL.
Input the ID in the "Mentimeter voting link ID" field within your Hopin settings (Event Dashboard > Venue > Sessions/Stages/Expo) and click Save.
After saving the Session in your event dashboard, you can use the Preview Event button in the top righthand corner to check the Mentimeter app in the relevant event area.
