What are the capabilities of the Picture Mosaic app?

  • Easily create a custom mosaic and photo experience for your guests.
  • Embed your mosaic within Hopin's platform for a seamless interactive experience.
  • Display, comment on, and share photos with your team or across social media.

This is currently only available within the App area of Hopin.

What plans is the Picture Mosaic app available on?

This app is available to Business and Enterprise Hopin plans. 

What attendee data is shared between the Picture Mosaic app and Hopin?

Hopin and the Picture Mosaic app do not share any attendee data between them.

Setting up the Picture Mosaic app?

You’ll need a Picture Mosaic license to use this app. Request a quote here.

To get started, you will need to install the Picture Mosaic app to your Hopin Organization. You can access the App Store by going to your Organization Dashboard and heading to the Apps tab. Then click on Discover More on App Store. 

image4.pngYou can find Picture Mosaic under the Fun & Games category, or you can follow this link to go directly to the page. Click Install app to add the Picture Mosaic app to your Organization.

picture_mosaic.pngNext, navigate to your Picture Mosaic account and get the public URL of your Mosaic and paste it into a text editor.

You will need to find the Unique Id for your Mosaic. This field is in bold in the example below. 

https://www.picturemosaic.com/photo-mosaic-tool/flex/?mosKey=[Unique Id]

Make a note of this Unique Id.

Next, head back to your Hopin event and go to your Event Dashboard > Venue > App and:

  • Select Picture Mosaic as the App for the area.
  • Input the Unique Id you obtained above.
  • Input the Menu Label for the App area.
Note: Make sure you have the App Area enabled.

Note: If you haven’t installed the Picture Mosaic app yet it will not show up in the dropdown menu. In this case, click on the Explore App Store button and you will be sent to the App Store page with apps eligible for the App Area. There you will be able to find and install the Picture Mosaic app.

Click Save and your attendees will see the App area in the left panel of your event.
