How to add a hybrid segment to your Event Schedule

You can also now specify whether a schedule segment is a Hybrid segment or Virtual only. 

To start creating your schedule, navigate to your Event Dashboard > Venue > Schedule. Choose a tab from the options below, depending on if you are using Table view or Calendar view. 

  • Click Add to schedule and a new panel will open where you can submit the details of your schedule segment.

    In the new panel that opens on the right hand side, select Hybrid if you want your segment to be available to both on-site and virtual attendees.

    Two new fields will become available for you to specify the "Onsite room" as well as the "Onsite capacity". You will need to tick the box for "Add onsite capacity" to display the additional field.

    If you want to add a new room, simply click the drop down menu and start typing in the name of the new room. Once you have written the name of the new room, click Create. 

    Note: If you are adding Floor plans to your Hybrid event, make sure that the room names coincide with the names of the rooms within your Floor plan so that Attendees can easily find each Event area.

    Alternatively, click Edit Rooms to rename, add, and remove Onsite Rooms

    Click the arrow at the top of the panel to return to your schedule settings.

    Make sure you click Add to schedule to create the segment. 

    When you create each segment, you will be able to see at a glance whether they are hybrid or virtual, as well as where they will be located, by the location tags that are added to each one.

  • When creating a schedule in Table view, you can click the blue button labelled Add to schedule and follow the same steps within the Calendar view tab. Alternatively, select Quick add new to add a new segment to your schedule.

    Add the title of your new segment and click Add or hit Enter on your keyboard.

    Click on the field under the column titled "Event Format", select Hybrid from the dropdown menu that appears.

    Scroll across and set the Onsite room and Onsite room capacity.

    If you want to add a new room, simply click the drop down menu under "Onsite Room" and start typing in the name of the new room. Once you have written the name of the new room, click Create
